Do your eyes ever feel the strain when you’re in the middle of an online browsing session?
Horse Browser is a new web browser, designed for online research. As you browse, every link opens in a new page and is saved on a Trail, a list of nested pages stored in your sidebar. This means you can keep track of research and say goodbye to the messy tabs you’re used to in Google Chrome.
In this blog post, we’ll be sharing how to use Horse Browser’s in-built Dark Reader.
About Horse Browser’s Dark Reader
Because of its unique Trails feature, Horse Browser is great for online research and concentrating on deep-focus work. With all that productive screen time, however, your eyes can start to feel the strain. Fortunately, Horse Browser comes with an in-built Dark Reader.
This means that you don’t need a separate, insecure extension. And you can deep-dive internet rabbit holes, while taking good care of your eyes.
So, let’s learn how to use Horse Browser’s in-built Dark Reader.

How to Enable Dark Reader in Horse Browser
Enabling Dark Reader is easy:
- Visit Menu > View > Enable Dark Reader
How To Match The Dark Reader to Your System Theme
There is a further option to match Dark Reader to your system theme. This means that Horse Browser will switch to Dark Mode, only when your operating system does.
So if your operating system switches to Dark Mode in the evening, Horse Browser will too! Pretty neat!
Go to Menu > View > Match Dark Reader to system theme
