FAQS on Horse Browser, including questions on extension support, tree style tabs, free trials and subscriptions
"Why does it cost money?"
Horse needs to make money to keep development going, because Horse Browser is not backed by investors. This is a good thing; you are not the product, the browser is. We can focus on making a great tool for you.

Why is there no free trial?”
We introduced a 14-day free trial once, but it introduced a lot of support and admin, while not growing revenue much. It didn’t make a lot of sense and we removed it, but we might try again in the future.

"Will you be adding extension support to Horse Browser?"
Eventually, but doing so requires a budget which we don't have yet. For now, Horse Browser has a built-in Password Manager, Adblocker, and Dark Reader. With Page Translation on the roadmap.

"Why not make Horse Browser as an extension for other browsers?"
Because it isn’t possible; extensions are not given the permissions required for Trails to work. So it has to be a separate browser.

"How is Horse Browser different from extensions like Tree Style Tabs, etc?"
The same way a bicycle is different from a wheel; it is one part, but Horse Browser combines it with a few other features to create something that builds on the idea.

Wikipedia

Sencha Tea

Sencha (煎茶) is a type of Japanese ryokucha (緑茶, green tea) which is prepared by infusing the processed whole tea leaves in hot water. This is as opposed to matcha (抹茶), powdered Japanese green tea, where the green tea powder is mixed with hot water and therefore the leaf itself is included in the beverage. Sencha is the most popular tea in Japan. It represents about 80 percent of the tea produced in Japan.

Turn your Browser into the ultimate Research system.

You don't need a todo list, or a notes app. Your browser can do these things. But it should be more integrated than simply loading a website. This is where Horse comes in, with built-in productivity features that make your browser a powerful tool.
