Description
Horse Browser is a paid browser that needs to generate revenue for development. There is no free trial due to low conversion rates, but refunds are available within 14 days. Extension support is planned but requires a large budget. Horse Browser is a separate browser because extensions do not have the necessary permissions. It offers unique features compared to other extensions like Tree Style Tabs.
"Why does it cost money?"
Horse needs to make money to keep development going, because Horse Browser is not backed by investors. This is a good thing; you are not the product, the browser is. I can focus on making a great tool for you.

Why is there no free trial?”
I introduced a 14-day free trial once, but while signups increased 300%, conversion was only 22%, so the math simply doesn’t work out. Add the increased admin on top of that, and it simply makes more sense to stick to the “no questions asked” 14-day free refunds.

"Will you be adding extension support to Horse Browser?"
Eventually, but doing so requires a budget which I don't have yet. For now, Horse Browser has a built-in Password Manager, Adblocker, and Dark Reader. With Page Translation on the roadmap.

"Why not make Horse Browser as an extension for other browsers?"
Because it isn’t possible; extensions are not given the permissions required for Trails to work. So it has to be a separate browser.

"How is Horse Browser different from extensions like Tree Style Tabs, etc?"
The same way a bicycle is different from a wheel; it is one part, but Horse Browser combines it with a few other features to create a unique experience.
